The Sporter Association invited the entire sports community from both sides of the Dniester river to participate in the activities planned within the Sport Platform of the EU Confidence Building Measures Program implemented by UNDP.
These include, among other things, major sports events, such as the Velohora, International Marathons, but also a summer school for children from disadvantaged families. Different sports federations can join the platform’s activity and participate in organizing the summer camp to train children in various sports.
The General Meeting of the Education and Sport Platform was held on Saturday, November 16, in Chisinau.
The participants to the meeting discussed about inclusive education, well developed on the right bank of the Dniester river, but less practiced on the left bank. Members of the platform have agreed to plan trainings for specialists from the Transnistrian region, so that they can implement the “school for all” principles in their communities.
The Education and Sport Platform, created as part of the EU Confidence Building Measures Program implemented by UNDP, brings together the NGOs and professional associations from both banks of the Dniester river and aims to implement joint development projects.
